SmartRest Metal Roof Plate for Buggy
The SmartRest Metal Roof Plate is made from durable 3 mm thick powder-coated steel and is designed to reinforce the plastic roof of a buggy.
Installing the plate provides two key benefits:
- Magnetic SpydaBot mounting: Allows the SpydaBot to attach securely to the roof while remaining easy to transfer between different vehicles.
- Remote handle support: Provides a strong mounting surface for SmartRest RC500, RC504 and RC505 remote handles, helping prevent the plastic roof from buckling, flexing or bouncing during use.
Pre-cut slots in the steel plate provide a guide for cutting the required opening in the buggy roof using a hole saw.
Installation Options
- Option 1: Secure the plate using a high-quality Sikaflex, silicone polyurethane or similar adhesive.
- Option 2: Use the four slotted mounting holes located in the corners to bolt the plate directly to the plastic roof.
For additional strength and stability, both installation methods may be used together.
